Scottish Legal Awards 2025 Launched: Celebrating Excellence in Scottish Law
The 2025 edition of the Scottish Legal Awards, the premier independent awards programme dedicated to the Scottish legal industry, has officially launched. Now in its 22nd year, the awards continue to celebrate the exceptional achievements of individuals, teams, and firms across Scotland’s dynamic legal sector.
With a commitment to recognising outstanding contributions over the past twelve months, the programme offers 20 categories that reflect the breadth of expertise and services provided by Scotland’s 12,000 active lawyers. his year, the awards programme is proud to introduce an exciting new category: Marketing & Business Development Team of the Year, recognising innovation and impact in promoting legal services and engaging clients.
Lorna Jack, renowned for her extensive experience in the Scottish legal sector, will lead a distinguished panel of judges tasked with reviewing and debating the entries. The judging panel includes legal experts who bring a wealth of knowledge and integrity to the decision-making process. The entry deadline is set for 12 noon on Monday, 28th April 2025. The winners will be unveiled at the Scottish Legal Awards Annual Dinner, hosted by popular broadcaster Des Clarke, on Thursday, 18th September 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Glasgow Central.
The 2025 Scottish Legal Awards continue their tradition of supporting charitable causes, raising funds for two important organisations, Lawscot Foundation and It’s Good 2 Give.
