Search Begins for the Best Commercial Property in Scotland
The 6th annual Scottish Property Awards, which celebrates excellence in commercial and public property, has launched its 2019 programme with a refreshed list of categories and four new judges.
The awards dinner which regularly attracts around 750 guests will bring together the breadth of the industry including developers, funders, architects, councils, agents, professional advisers and contractors.
New categories include Health Care Development of the Year, Independent Agency of the Year, Property Legal Team of the Year and a new Property Technology Award, all designed to celebrate ongoing advancement and growth across the real estate sector.
Entries are now being invited in advance of the judging day which will be chaired for the fourth year by Fiona Morton, the former managing partner and chairman of Ryden. She welcomes four new experts to the panel. Marie Macklin CBE, founder and director of the HALO Urban Regeneration Company, Virginia Beckett, CEO of Regent Capital plc, Johane Murray, Head of Real Estate at Brodies LLP and Hugh Rutherford, Partner at Montagu Evans LLP.

For the first time in the history of the awards, the Scottish Property Awards will host a Winners Dinner to take place in the weeks following the event. The private dinner will be staged with the support of sponsors, Weightmans.

The awards are free to enter, and entrants have until Thursday 25 October 2018 to submit their work.
