The 9th Annual Scottish Gin Awards have officially announced their finalists, marking another milestone in Scotland’s premier gin competition.
Renowned for its rigorous and comprehensive judging process, the Scottish Gin Awards celebrate excellence across both taste and business performance. The taste competition is delivered through a live, independent blind tasting, with entries assessed on appearance, aroma, and flavour under strict conditions. This year’s judging panel featured 25 experts, including leading distillers and qualified sensory specialists, who together provided unparalleled expertise in evaluating Scotland’s finest gins.
The winners of the 2025 awards will be revealed at a prestigious celebration and dinner on Wednesday 29th October 2025 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. The event will once again unite the Scottish gin community following the Scottish Distillers Conference, creating a landmark day of knowledge-sharing, networking, and recognition.
Alongside celebrating the best of Scottish gin, the awards also continue their tradition of supporting charity, raising funds for The BEN – the Benevolent Society of the Licensed Trade of Scotland. Through its fundraising activities, the event helps to give back to the wider hospitality and drinks industry, reinforcing the sense of community that lies at the heart of Scotland’s distilling sector.
The Scottish Gin Awards remain a key platform for recognising innovation, craftsmanship, and excellence in Scotland’s thriving gin industry. With finalists now announced, anticipation is building for what promises to be another unforgettable evening celebrating the nation’s world-class gin producers.
